description

Jean Yves Lechevallier, in the creation of his work was influenced by the thought of the sculptor and poet Jean Arp, in particular by his sculpture of nature and sculpture in nature. His work is very diverse in terms of materials, composition and style: as he creates bas-reliefs, murals, mosaics, caryatids and monumental pieces. “Point d'orgue” stands on the rocks at the entrance to the tunnel, on the main road that leads to Monaco. Its convex polished steel surfaces reflect the colors of the changing surroundings from the soft colors of dawn to noon bright glow, but it also reflects car headlights and road signs once the sun begins to set.
